For the „EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2022“ EY is looking for entrepreneurs who show that economic success and social responsibility are linked. Entrepreneurial personalities can now be nominated for whom courage, foresight and decision-making are key values.
The awards are presented in the categories of family business, innovation, sustainability and young companies. In addition, an honorary prize is awarded for entrepreneurial and exceptional social commitment. An independent, high-ranking jury selects the winners from the finalists.

The difficult past few years in particular have shown how important courageous and energetic entrepreneurial personalities are for us as a society and for Germany as a business location. The Entrepreneur Of The Year award is intended to highlight the special achievements of these entrepreneurs and serve as an incentive for others.”

The „EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2022“ award will be presented on November 24, 2022, if the current situation allows, in the Verti Music Hall in Berlin.
In addition, one of the winners will represent Germany in the “EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year” election. This is where the best entrepreneurs from over 60 countries where EY awards this prize meet.
About the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year competition
EY Germany has been honoring outstanding entrepreneurs for 26 years now. The competition is supported by well-known companies and media. These include the private banking and asset management group LGT, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and manager magazin. In addition to honoring successful entrepreneurs, EY also promotes young entrepreneurs with the „EY NextGen Academy“ program, which takes place at renowned international business schools.
